During Covid I got my husband to join in a daily practice. I now have severe arthritis in my shoulders and drs want to do full replacement bone on bone. Adrienne, I also have MS and probably started this whole yoga thing a bit late, but hey! Im here now 😀 I have been doing daily videos with you everyday for 8 weeks now and I can see a difference in my flexibility, balance and coordination. Not sure if your question has been answered in other places, but as an almost-pharmacist (one more year of school!) and someone who has experienced similar symptoms, I think I can help!
It sounds like you have orthostatic hypotension, which is fancy talk for low blood pressure upon standing. This can be caused for a variety of reasons, mine was that I was eating too little and had very low blood pressure to begin with. Other causes can be medications, dehydration, and just having low blood pressure in general.
I would suggest increasing the amount of water you drink and trying to stand slowly as to give your blood time to get all the way up to the head upon standing. If these aren't enough to help, I would suggest talking with your doctor about your symptoms, as increasing salt can help (under doctor's orders!) and there are certain medications that are beneficial.

I always feel like I will blackout whenever I stand up for mountain pose after standing up again (my vision gets half-black and I feel dizzy). Do you know why that happens and how I can avoid it? (anyone with an answer is welcome to reply!)
