Well, I am off on an adventure!<\/p>\n
Off to make dreams<\/span> come true.<\/p>\n And likely to see some hard truths play out too.<\/p>\n Off to visit a new place and meet new friends!<\/p>\n Off to connect to the global energy!<\/p>\n CUE: <\/strong>Chariots Of Fire theme<\/p>\n I\u2019m going to the 2016 Summer Olympics.<\/p>\n We\u2019ve been working hard on content, building new relationships and exchanging in amazing conversations with kula members in the last few weeks here at home.<\/p>\n Now it is time to jump on a fun opportunity that I truly believe I manifested.<\/p>\n Only - half kidding on this.<\/p>\n I\u2019ve always loved the Olympics.<\/p>\n I was in the womb during the 1984 Summer Olympics (age revealed!!!) and have always been in total awe of the Olympic games.<\/p>\n Winter. Summer. I love you both.<\/p>\n I love you both and can settle in for hours watching, following - loving every minute of it.<\/p>\n My Dad recently told me that he recorded a lot of the 84\u2019 Olympics for me on VHS and that I watched them as a kid. Ha!<\/p>\n I have gathered round to watch events with pals every four years.<\/p>\n What will go wrong? What will go right? Oh the joy! The drama! The athleticism! The bravery! The blasphemy! The love.<\/p>\n I am known among my circle of friends for having opening ceremony parties. We even made a little gold medal for Blue (RIP) one year.<\/p>\n I just love it.<\/p>\n Now, do I know that there are things wrong with the Olympics?<\/p>\n Yes, I do.<\/p>\n But on one base level - I\u2019m just sharing a part of me with you. I love the event, it\u2019s global energy and the connect it stirs around the world.<\/p>\n So, when jokes about my attendance in RIO became an invitation - to - make - that - a - reality.<\/p>\n I said YES.<\/p>\n Adidas has invited me as an influencer to attend the games for one week and share my experience with my friends, YOU.<\/p>\n I chose week one.<\/p>\n This will be the first trip I have taken all year in which I am not teaching or leading, but rather, playing and exploring solely.<\/p>\n And you can bet your bottom dollar I am taking you with me.<\/p>\n I invite you to follow me on IG, Twitter and Facebook for photos and videos capturing the experience.<\/p>\n Support my dream<\/span> of getting to the Olympics by liking the photos!<\/p>\n I\u2019ll be using the hashtag #FWFGRIO to document the journey.<\/p>\n I will be doing a Facebook Live from the opening ceremony on August 5th.
